Adoption Book Give-Away: "I Love You Like Crazy Cakes"
This is a truly beautiful adoption book . . . especially for families with children adopted from China, but really for any family who wants to share the story of adoption. The illustrations are gorgeous, and the story is told in such a sweet and gentle way. And, since I am looking forward to the debut of our new adoption website, My Red Thread Journey, I have decided to give away one copy of "I Love You Like Crazy Cakes." All you have to do is post here, on my adoption blog, between now and March 15th. We will do a drawing from all of the bloggers who post (well, you really don't have to have your own blog, just post on mine with a working email address) and I will send out a brand-new copy of this gorgeous book.
Just look at these stunning illustrations! My girls love having me read this book to them, and I know that your family will enjoy it just as much as we have. Of course, I will be sending out a BRAND NEW copy of the book . . . . you can see from the cover that our copy is very well-loved. Kind of like the Skin Horse in the story of the Velveteen Rabbit! Rather worn around the edges, but very much loved!
And when the new website is up and fully functioning, there will be all kinds of ways to get connected with other adoptive parents! I'll be looking for stories of your journey to the child of your heart, so if you want us to include your story, please email me. We are also including links to all the adoption agencies we can find . . . . and book reviews, so if you want to submit a book review, let me know. There will be information about raising money to fund your adoption, and links to other adoption blogs. If you are thinking about adopting, you will want to join us at My Red Thread Journey. Work in progress!

I've done reviews of several adoption books now, and this is one I still have yet to see~ I'd love to win! Great contest!

Thanks for offering this great drawing. I like being able to expose my daughters to all different types of families through the books I read them. This would make a great addition to our collection.

I am in the process of adopting a child from Uzbekistan. I currently have one 4 year old bio daughter. I have been meaning to pick up some adoption books to be able to read to her and our next daughter once she is home and old enough. I had heard this is a great book, so I hope I win!
